Open since 2005, Trio is owned and operated by two local chefs with a flare for innovation. Located just off the town square, Trio serves both seasonal and nightly specials in a relaxed atmosphere, popular with locals and tourists alike. Come in and enjoy a specialty cocktail in front of the wood-fired oven as the chefs perform in an open kitchen.
The majestic mountain Dykhtau
The first man ascended Dykhtau at the end of the nineteenth century. Both twin mountains are approximately equal in height and differ from each other by only a few tens of meters. As for nature, its splendor should be noted separately. There is a great variety of plants and animals, some of which are in the Red Book and are carefully protected by natural communities and reserves. And some species can be found only on this mountain. Locals often meet bears, martens and foxes on their way, which have recently lost their vigilance and often go to man’s houses to feast on well-fed poultry. The rarest of the animal species here is the leopard, which feeds on mountain goats. These goats are amazing animals! It is worth seeing them at least once to be amazed at how cleverly they climb the mountains, having neither paws nor hands with fingers to hold on to the protruding parts. However, by some miracle, these artiodactyls manage to stay on the slopes almost vertically.
Upon graduating from Colgate University, Will established his connection to Jackson while cooking in a number of local establishments. Deciding he wanted to take his skills to the next level, Will enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America. After graduation, with apprenticeships in Tuscany, Italy, and at Tra Vigne restaurant in Napa, CA, Will returned to Jackson for a position at the Snake River Grill. Will quickly became one of the Snake River Grill’s integral chefs, spending a year and a half developing his unique style and technique, before opening Trio.
Local is a modern American steakhouse and bar located on Jackson’s historic town square. The menu features both classic and specialty cuts of locally-ranched meats and game alongside fresh seafood, shellfish, house-ground burgers, and seasonally-inspired food.
